TL;DR

Shopify Developer (Shopify Plus): Designing and implementing end-to-end technical architectures for complex enterprise e-commerce platforms with an accent on headless commerce, Shopify ecosystem integration, and performance optimization. Focus on building custom themes, backend services, and high-scale checkout solutions using Liquid, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks.

Location: Hybrid (must be based in or able to work from Warsaw, Poland). Requires 3 days per week in the Warsaw office.

Compensation: Up to $6,500 USD per month.

What you will do

• Design and document comprehensive end-to-end technical architectures for Shopify Plus stores.
• Develop complex custom themes and storefronts utilizing Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Build and maintain custom Shopify applications, implementing advanced functionality with webhooks and Checkout Extensibility.
• Lead system integrations between Shopify and enterprise back-office systems like ERP, PIM, and OMS.
• Optimize cart, checkout, and product flows for conversion and analytical performance.
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in e-commerce solution architecture or senior technical roles.
• 3+ years of dedicated, hands-on experience with the Shopify platform, specifically Shopify Plus.
• Proven expertise in headless commerce architectures, including Hydrogen and Oxygen.
• Strong command of Shopify APIs (REST and GraphQL) and modern web technologies (React/Next.js).
• Experience in developing custom Shopify apps, Shopify Functions, and Checkout UI extensions.
• Ability to work in a hybrid model in Warsaw, Poland.

Nice to have

• Shopify or relevant e-commerce platform certifications.
• Experience re-platforming from legacy commerce systems.
• Proficiency in back-end languages such as Node.js or Ruby.
