What you will do

• Provide architectural guidance and apply engineering best practices using Java/Kotlin, PHP, Kafka, MySQL.
• Plan, prioritize, and ensure the timely delivery of technical projects while managing risks and dependencies.
• Work closely with Product Managers and other stakeholders to align engineering efforts with business goals.
• Adhere to high-quality development principles while delivering solutions on time and on budget.
• Coach and support the team in Agile Software development best practices.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a lead position/role
• 4+ years of work experience as a Java/Kotlin
• Work experience with PHP would be a significant plus
• Experience with MySQL, and working with large data volumes
• Experience with microservices and cloud architectures - Google Cloud Platform, Docker
• English upper-intermediate (B2)

Nice to have

• Experience building or operating payment systems, fintech platforms, or transaction-heavy systems
• Prior knowledge of PHP 7+, Laravel, Symfony, and FuelPHP knowledge is a plus
