TL;DR
Senior Fullstack Engineer (): Developing tools for Atlas to enable users to manage data and monitor deployment performance with an accent on backend scalability and frontend interactivity. Location: Must be based in Ireland (Hybrid in Dublin or Remote within Ireland).

What you will do
- Build and maintain APIs and customer-facing interfaces for Atlas and Compass.
- Design and architect modern, high-availability web applications for database management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve developer productivity and system health.
- Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation to ensure service continuity and incident response.
- Solve complex problems related to data interaction and performance monitoring in distributed environments.
Requirements
- Location: Must be based in Ireland (Dublin office or remote).
- Minimum 2+ years of experience with backend systems (Java, C#, Go, Node.js).
- Strong background in the design and architecture of scalable web applications.
- Willingness to balance backend-heavy tasks with frontend development.
- Experience working with database systems and distributed architectures.
- Strong collaboration skills and an intellectual curiosity for complex distributed systems.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of database internals and performance tuning, specifically indexing.
- Proficiency in TypeScript, React, and Node.js.
- Experience with websocket-based client-server communication.
- Familiarity with microservices and Kubernetes orchestration.
