TL;DR
Data Analyst (IoT): Developing and automating business intelligence reports to drive strategic decision-making for a cloud-based smart security platform with an accent on data lifecycle management and complex metric delivery. Location: Must be based in Tysons, Virginia (Hybrid: 4 days per week in office)

What you will do
- Develop and automate reports to meet the business intelligence and analytical needs of diverse stakeholders.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to establish and track key business metrics.
- Interpret complex business data and provide analysis to support executive growth decisions.
- Convert data science models into usable reports for broader business consumption.
- Communicate findings clearly to all management levels.
- Help train internal and external stakeholders on reporting tools and data interpretation.
Requirements
- BA/BS in Computer Science, MIS, Data Science, Math, Physics, Engineering, Statistics, or relevant field.
- 3+ years of experience with SQL for data analysis.
- 2+ years of experience developing MicroStrategy reports and architecture.
- Strong understanding of data management and the data lifecycle.
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally and translate technical content to a general audience.
- Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
Nice to have
- Advanced degrees in a relevant technical field.
- Familiarity with additional programming languages beyond SQL.
- Experience with alternative Business Intelligence (BI) tools.
