Product Design Intern (AI)

Focus on leading a major project from conception to execution and balancing user needs with technical constraints and business goals.

Location: Must be in-person at our NYC HQ (located in Union Square)

What you will do

• Work as an integral member of the design team, contributing to core product work and ongoing initiatives.
• Help build comprehensive user flows, wireframes, and high fidelity prototypes, ensuring execution aligns with our brand and design systems.
• Lead a major project from conception → execution → final presentation, owning the end-to-end process from discovery to engineering handoff.
• Participate in weekly design critiques and team meetings, gaining experience in incorporating fast paced feedback and iterative design.
• Articulate the “why” behind your work, learning to balance user needs with technical constraints and business goals.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing an undergrad degree in Design, HCI, Computer Science or a design-related field with graduation between December 2026 and Summer 2027.
• Advanced knowledge of Figma for design and prototyping. Familiarity with AI-assisted design and building tools is a significant plus.
• A portfolio showcasing previous internship work, class projects, or self-initiated case studies that demonstrate clear system thinking and UI/UX skills.
• Deep curiosity about how products are built from idea to launch and an ability to navigate complex user journeys.
• Excellent verbal and written skills to discuss, present, and document design decisions.
• A high level of ownership and hunger to learn quickly within a highly collaborative, fast moving team.
