TL;DR

Location: Must be based in Barcelona, Spain (Onsite)

What you will do

  • Conduct KYC/KYB reviews on new merchants by analyzing documentation and client information.
  • Perform due diligence and assess risks using internal and external systems.
  • Execute PEP screenings and adverse media checks to mitigate financial crime risks.
  • Prepare necessary external reports and regulatory filings.
  • Liaise with stakeholders and recommend improvements to existing compliance policies and procedures.
  • Ensure ongoing adherence to regulations and client-specific processing requirements.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of professional experience in a similar KYC/KYB or merchant onboarding role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience in the banking or fintech industry is mandatory.
  • Full professional proficiency in both Spanish and English.
  • Strong research skills, attention to detail, and a disciplined approach to workload management.
  • Ability to thrive in a high-paced, operational environment.

Nice to have

  • Specific training or certifications in financial crime, including AML, Sanctions, AB&C, or Fraud.
