What you will do

• Define and execute the product and platform security strategy across the entire SDLC.
• Lead and grow the security team, fostering a culture where security is embedded in engineering workflows.
• Architect security controls for cloud-native applications, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop and manage threat detection, alerting, and incident response programs.
• Drive AI-specific security initiatives, including LLM pipeline protection and model security.
• Act as the primary product security voice for enterprise customer audits and due diligence.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in Germany (hybrid Berlin or remote within the country)
• 12+ years in security with 5+ years of leadership experience in a SaaS or platform company.
• Strong background in securing cloud-native, containerized environments like AWS, GCP, and Kubernetes.
• Expertise in application security, including secure architecture, SAST/DAST, and threat modeling.
• Proven capability in building SOC/detection and response programs.
• Experience with compliance frameworks such as SOC 2 and ISO 27001.
