TL;DR

Location: Must be based in or able to relocate to Limassol, Cyprus

What you will do
- Manage Kubernetes cluster environments on bare-metal, including capacity planning and performance tuning.
- Implement and operate Data Lake infrastructure using S3 and Trino.
- Deploy and maintain Spark on Kubernetes.
- Develop and operate on-premise AI infrastructure.
- Implement monitoring, alerting, and data protection measures in accordance with security policies.
- Participate in the architecture development of the company's Data Platform.
Requirements
- Relevant experience in maintaining Hadoop ecosystems and the Spark framework.
- Deep understanding of distributed system performance, including IO throughput and cluster networking.
- Practical experience with containers (Docker/containerd) and orchestration tools like Kubernetes or Rancher.
- Knowledge of automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
- Proficiency in Linux environments and at least one programming language (Python, Java, or Go).
- Strong knowledge of incident management and security best practices.

- Experience with disaster recovery implementation.
- Familiarity with CI/CD principles in big data processing.
