Focus on setting up new marketplace processes, driving growth through data-driven insights, and leveraging AI and automation tools to optimize scaling.

Location: Must be based in Munich, Germany (Hybrid role, 60% in-office)

What you will do

  • Identify new sellers and assess the relevance of their product portfolio to the marketplace.
  • Build and manage a robust seller pipeline to consistently meet ambitious growth objectives.
  • Support the onboarding process for high-potential sellers to ensure quick and successful integration.
  • Develop and execute growth strategies in collaboration with sellers to maximize market opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive successful marketplace rollouts across different regions.
  • Define and optimize operational processes using AI and automation tools to improve scalability.

Requirements

  • Fluent level of German and English required.
  • 2+ years of experience in Seller, Vendor, Purchasing, or Category Management within e-commerce or FMCG.
  • Proven track record in managing business partners, ideally within a retail or marketplace environment.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and persuasion skills for stakeholder management.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple complex projects with high impact.
  • Must be based in or able to commute to Munich, Germany for a hybrid working model (60% office).

  • Experience working with Mirakl software.
  • Background in the pet industry.
  • Intercultural competence.
