TL;DR

DB2 Mainframe Developer: Developing and maintaining mainframe database solutions with an accent on DB2 and SQL query optimization. Focus on managing complex data models and ensuring system performance in a hybrid environment based in Porto.

Location: Must be based in Porto, Portugal or have a valid Portuguese work permit for hybrid work 2x per week.

What you will do

Develop and maintain mainframe applications using IBM DB2.
Execute and optimize SQL queries to support business needs.
Interpret and work with Data Conceptual Models (DCMs).
Utilize DBeaver for database management and Jira for task tracking.
Collaborate with international partners on diverse technical projects.

Requirements

At least 4 to 5 years of professional experience as a mainframe developer.
Fluency in French (B2 level mandatory).
Must have valid Portuguese or EU citizenship, or a valid Portuguese work permit.
Proficiency in IBM DB2 and SQL.
Ability to read and understand Data Conceptual Models.
Experience using Jira and DBeaver tools.
