What you will do

• Lead the strategic direction, planning, and governance for the Network Office domain.
• Translate long-term network goals into clear, actionable, and scalable roadmaps.
• Drive alignment between Network, IT, Finance, and external vendors to streamline decision-making.
• Oversee OpEx and CapEx performance to identify efficiency opportunities and value-based priorities.
• Manage and mentor a team of senior professionals and managers, fostering engagement and development.
• Represent the network domain in senior leadership discussions to influence broader technology strategy.

Requirements

• Must have legal authorization to work in the Netherlands.
• Extensive senior leadership experience within a large-scale, complex telecom or technology environment.
• Broad, credible knowledge of network domains (e.g., Mobile, Fixed, IP, RAN, OSS).
• Proven track record in managing strategy, governance, and portfolio prioritization.
• Strong financial acumen, including budget ownership and value-based reporting.
• English language proficiency required.

Nice to have

• Exposure to digital environments like cloud, software, or infrastructure.
• Experience in managing vendor-heavy environments and external dependencies.
• Background in organizational transformation or implementing new ways of working.
• Familiarity with AIOps, automation, or observability.
