What you will do

• Manage the assurance review schedule for direct customers to ensure accurate risk ratings.
• Conduct end-to-end financial crime reviews, including scoping, data analysis, and report production.
• Identify gaps and weaknesses in customer financial crime control frameworks.
• Issue recommendations to external stakeholders, including CEOs and compliance managers, and track them to closure.
• Review and close out post-live conditions for newly onboarded customers.
• Collaborate on operational improvements and automation projects.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience in financial crime compliance, specifically within assurance or oversight functions.
• Solid understanding of AML, KYC, and transaction monitoring frameworks.
• Proven ability to write clear, formal documentation and findings reports.
• Confidence in managing stakeholder relationships and conducting difficult conversations.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills for managing a complex caseload.
• Must have the right to work in the UK.

Nice to have

• Experience with embedded finance onboarding models.
• Relevant qualifications such as an ICA diploma.
• Experience presenting findings to senior management.
