What you will do

• Develop AI/ML solutions for real-world problems including ranking, chatbot intent recognition, agentic AI, and computer vision.
• Own the full ML lifecycle, from raw data processing to model deployment and online monitoring.
• Apply statistical methods to extract business insights and drive data-driven decision-making.
• Structure complex business problems into actionable ML models and compound AI systems.
• Collaborate with a global, multi-disciplinary team to achieve cross-continental project goals.
• Communicate complex data science findings to senior leadership in a clear and pragmatic way.

Requirements

• Must be located in the UK (Manchester or London).
• 8+ years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or 5+ years with a Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Strong hands-on practice with Python and ML frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn, or Hugging Face.
• Proven ability to solve business problems using AI techniques such as NLP, Bayesian methods, or ensemble tree models.
• Experience working with large-scale datasets, data pipelining, and feature engineering.
• Understanding of LLMs, RAG, agentic AI, and MLOps principles.

Nice to have

• Experience with MLFlow, AWS SageMaker, and AWS Bedrock.
• Knowledge of infrastructure tools like Kubernetes.
• Practical experience with feature stores and production model monitoring.
