What you will do

• Lead research initiatives on LLMs and VLMs for conversational avatars.
• Design fine-tuning, adaptation, and conditioning techniques to align model behavior.
• Prototype and optimize models for real-time generation within time budgets.
• Collaborate with Applied ML and Product teams to transition research to production.
• Mentor research staff and define long-term technical research agendas.

Requirements

• PhD or equivalent experience with 2-3+ years of postdoctoral or industry research on LLMs/VLMs.
• Proven expertise in generative language modeling and prototyping.
• Strong track record in LLM adaptation, conditioning, or control methods.
• Experience with large model training at scale.
• Excellent programming skills in PyTorch.
• Publications in top-tier conferences like NeurIPS, ICLR, or CVPR.
