Salary: €4,931 – €7,043 per month

What you will do
- Design and implement robust, reusable data pipelines and contracts for the Insights Platform.
- Establish platform infrastructure with integrated governance, quality controls, and reliability standards.
- Lead and coach a new engineering team to deliver secure, production-ready solutions.
- Define technical direction and architecture for scalable, future-proof data products.
- Collaborate with product teams and architects to translate complex user needs into platform features.
- Oversee operational health, including monitoring and incident resolution.
Requirements
- Must be based in or able to commute to Utrecht, Netherlands
- 7+ years of experience as a Data Engineer in complex IT landscapes.
- 3+ years of experience in a lead or senior technical position.
- Proven expertise with the Azure Data Platform (ADF, Databricks, Synapse, Azure DevOps).
- Solid proficiency in SQL, ETL development, and pipeline testing.
- Experience with Apache Airflow and Python Spark is highly desirable.
- Strong background in data modeling, data management, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
