What you will do

• Contribute to the core Search Platform codebase and delivery of search-related features.
• Design, implement, and maintain search services and retrieval APIs in production.
• Improve the reliability, scalability, and performance of search services hosted on Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with product, data science, and engineering teams to transform requirements into robust solutions.
• Perform high-quality code reviews and provide technical guidance to team members.
• Deepen domain expertise in platform architecture and search-specific technologies.

Requirements

• Proven professional software engineering experience in backend or platform roles.
• Hands-on experience with search systems like Elasticsearch, Solr, OpenSearch, or Lucene.
• Strong Java development skills, preferably with Spring or Spring Boot.
• Production experience with Kubernetes for service deployment and operation.
• Experience building and maintaining cloud-based systems, preferably on AWS, with CI/CD pipelines.
