What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable distributed backend systems powering core product capabilities.
• Manage backend services throughout the entire lifecycle, including architecture, implementation, and monitoring.
• Partner with product and engineering teams to shape strategy and product decisions.
• Develop platform components, including protocol integrations and interactions with blockchain networks.
• Ensure high standards of code quality, performance, security, and observability across services.
• Leverage AI tools to improve productivity while contributing to technical reviews and mentorship.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience building distributed backend systems.
• Strong proficiency in Python 3.
• Experience with containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Working knowledge of databases such as Postgres, MongoDB, or Cassandra.
• Proven ability to manage cloud environments on AWS.
• Strong background in algorithms, data structures, and design patterns.

Nice to have

• Professional experience with Golang.
• Prior experience in a high-autonomy startup environment.
• Hands-on experience with Web3 systems, dApps, or smart contracts.
