What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain secure RESTful APIs using Python frameworks like FastAPI.
• Build and deploy containerized microservices within AWS cloud environments.
• Integrate with external third-party APIs and government data sources with robust error handling.
• Develop scalable data pipelines and perform NLP tasks for document processing.
• Implement AI/ML workflows and integrate them into production systems.
• Ensure system reliability through TDD, automated testing, and secure coding practices.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional Python development experience.
• U.S. citizenship required (supports government agency).
• Ability to obtain and maintain a government clearance (Public Trust).
• Experience with RESTful API development and cloud-native services (AWS).
• Strong background in SQL/NoSQL databases, Docker, and Git workflows.
• Understanding of security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or OWASP.

Nice to have

• Experience with Kubernetes (EKS) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency with React.js for full-stack tasks.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform).
