Backend Engineer (Fintech)

Location: Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

What you will do

• Develop robust backend application services and APIs.
• Design and build new systems while enhancing existing platforms.
• Build components for the alpha testing and production framework.
• Automate continuous integration and deployment processes.
• Monitor platform reliability and performance and implement improvements.
• Collaborate with operations, researchers, and an agile engineering team.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software development experience, including experience running real-world applications at scale.
• Strong Python skills and broad knowledge of the Python ecosystem, including NumPy and Pandas.
• Experience developing scalable and robust software.
• Working knowledge of SQL, Redis, Kafka, and other database or messaging technologies.
• Experience with Linux environments and shell scripting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
