About the Role

You will work across the entire web development lifecycle: design, develop, deploy, and support web features for a high-scale trading platform. You will build secure, well-tested, performant interfaces, collaborate with product and design, diagnose and fix performance and security issues, ship features with minimal guidance, and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• More than 5 years of professional experience
• Significant professional experience with JavaScript and TypeScript
• Proficiency with CSS, HTML, and modern Web APIs
• Deep experience with modern UI libraries or frameworks (React, Solid, Vue) and component-based architecture
• Professional experience with Node.js, CSS Modules, Jest, Webpack, Vite, or Rollup
• Experience with Lighthouse and Playwright
• Experience with state management and API integration
• Experience diagnosing and preventing performance problems
• Solid understanding of responsive design, accessibility (WCAG), and cross-browser compatibility
• Proven ability to design scalable frontend systems and maintain clean codebases
• Experience owning projects from concept to production
• Comfort with agile, iterative development processes
• Proficiency in English
• Self-motivated with strong communication skills
• Experience with hybrid mobile technologies (Cordova, Capacitor, React Native) and native modules (Java/Kotlin, Swift/Objective-C) is a plus
• Master's Degree

Responsibilities

• Participate in the application lifecycle (design, development, deployment, support)
• Develop secure, well-tested, and performant features for the trading platform
• Collaborate with Product Management, UX, and engineering stakeholders
• Advocate for improvements to product quality, security, and performance
• Solve complex technical problems
• Write and maintain code that meets internal style and maintainability standards
• Identify technical debt and propose and implement solutions
• Troubleshoot product, security, and urgent engineering issues
• Ship moderately sized features with minimal guidance
• Mentor Junior and Intermediate Engineers
