Lead Sound Designer (Gamedev): Leading the audio development team for The Witcher 4 with an accent on soundscape creation and aesthetic continuity. Focus on designing, implementing, and mixing high-quality audio assets using Unreal Engine 5 and Wwise to deliver immersive RPG experiences.
Location: Must be based in or relocate to Warsaw, Poland (Hybrid or Onsite capacity).
Salary: 31,800 – 43,725 PLN gross monthly.

What you will do
- Lead and mentor a team of Sound Designers to drive audio development for the project.
- Define and maintain aesthetic continuity across the game and trailers.
- Collaborate with Directors, Producers, and cross-discipline teams including Music, VO, and Programming.
- Design, implement, and mix rich, original sound effects.
- Develop innovative audio systems utilizing Unreal Engine 5 and Wwise middleware.
- Plan and track milestones, sprints, and roadmap deliverables.
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional experience in the video game industry, including work on shipped AAA titles.
- At least 2 years of experience in a leadership role related to sound design or audio direction.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating creative skills and sound design quality.
- Proficiency in Unreal Engine 5, Wwise, and in-house audio tools.
- Effective communication and team management skills.
- Must be based in or able to relocate to Warsaw, Poland; relocation package and support provided.
Nice to have
- Experience with Atmos, Surround Sound, 3D Audio, and HRTF.
- Experience with performance capture audio.
- Experience planning and executing field and Foley recording sessions.
