What you will do

• Analyze large volumes of data to uncover new fraud patterns and conduct expert qualitative reviews.
• Design and develop data-driven fraud strategies and capabilities to mitigate financial loss.
• Build new data features and products to enhance existing statistical fraud models.
• Leverage machine learning techniques to accurately identify high-risk customer activities.
• Create trend reports and actionable insights using Python, PySpark, SQL, Snowflake, and Databricks.
• Collaborate with technology partners to implement and monitor the effectiveness of risk controls.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or Engineering.
• 2+ years of experience in fraud risk management within the banking or consumer finance sector.
• Proficiency in big data tools and platforms including Python, PySpark, Snowflake, Databricks, and SQL.
• Strong working knowledge of statistical techniques such as regression, clustering, and ensemble methods.
• Ability to derive insights from complex structured and unstructured datasets.
• Demonstrated experience in project management and creative problem-solving.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, or Engineering.
• Experience with large-scale graph processing and link prediction algorithms.
• Expertise in advanced machine learning techniques including reinforcement learning and deep neural networks.
