Salary: $165,000–$230,000.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models for fraud detection and risk decisioning.
• Own the full model lifecycle from problem framing and feature engineering to deployment and monitoring.
• Build production-ready code including training workflows and observability tooling.
• Partner with Engineering and ML Platform teams to ensure model scalability and reliability.
• Design statistical experiments and translate insights into actionable product recommendations.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to other team members.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in data science or machine learning within a production environment.
• 2+ years of experience leading complex projects or initiatives.
• Expert-level proficiency in Python and strong SQL skills.
• Proven track record of deploying production models and managing their performance.
• Deep foundation in statistical methods, experiment design, and model interpretability.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams to productionize models.

Nice to have

• Professional experience in fraud detection.
• Experience with AWS SageMaker.
• Familiarity with Airflow, Spark, dbt, Git, Hex, or Looker.
