What you will do
- Analyze existing queries and dashboards in Athena, BigQuery, and Tableau Server to understand data structures.
- Rewrite and optimize SQL queries and ETL processes for transition to Snowflake.
- Conduct QA activities to ensure Snowflake-based data sources match legacy data sources.
- Develop and maintain high-performance Tableau dashboards connected to Snowflake.
- Collaborate with data engineers and business stakeholders to deliver organizational data solutions.
- Create comprehensive documentation for data sources, ETL processes, and reporting solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Data Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst or Analytics Engineer in data migration projects.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and strong experience with ETL tools and pipeline methodologies.
- Advanced Tableau skills for dashboard development and reporting.
- Experience with performance tuning in Snowflake and Tableau environments.
- Based in Colombia.
Nice to have
- Experience identifying opportunities for new AI/ML use cases through exploratory analysis.
- Familiarity with documenting and socializing AI best practices within an organization.
- Proficiency in technical English for reading, writing, and presenting in executive contexts.
