What you will do

• Design and maintain security requirements for vulnerability management and application security.
• Conduct automated and on-demand vulnerability scans using Qualys VMDR.
• Perform application-level penetration testing and analyze findings for remediation.
• Implement security solutions including WAF, SAST, DAST, and IAST tools.
• Monitor and analyze system logs and security alerts for unauthorized access.
• Create and present security metrics, vulnerability trends, and risk reports to leadership.

Requirements

• Location: Ability to work onsite in Irving, TX 4 days per week
• 3-5 years of experience in Cybersecurity, Network Engineering, or Application Development.
• Deep understanding of vulnerability management lifecycles and CVSS scoring.
• Hands-on experience with Qualys VMDR and IaC security controls.
• Experience securing cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerized architecture.
• Proficiency in scripting (Python or Bash) for security automation.

Nice to have

• Cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, OSCP).
• Experience with threat modeling and risk assessment methodologies.
• Knowledge of NIST CSF, ISO 27001, and OWASP Top 10 frameworks.
