What you will do

• Build rapid, functional prototypes of developer surfaces and AI-driven applications.
• Integrate AI-assisted development tools into your core daily workflow.
• Translate strategic concepts into tangible demonstrations that anchor community conversations.
• Collaborate with community leads to ensure prototypes are legible and shareable for developers.
• Contribute actively to public repositories and work in the open to foster community learning.
• Evaluate and provide feedback on emerging AI stacks and developer-facing tools.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States
• Solid software engineering fundamentals with clear, readable code.
• Demonstrated experience using coding agents and AI-assisted development tools.
• Proven ability to build on top of the open source AI stack (inference, orchestration, evaluation).
• Fluency in Python and/or TypeScript.
• Experience building APIs and developer-facing tools.
• Strong written communication skills for explaining complex technical work to a broad audience.
