What you will do

• Design and implement scalable backend services primarily using Go.
• Build and evolve distributed systems supporting monetization and personalization.
• Develop reliable data and caching layers using PostgreSQL and Redis.
• Create high-performance APIs for content delivery and ad infrastructure.
• Collaborate across platform and data teams to ensure system observability and resilience.
• Optimize backend architectures for scalability and cost efficiency.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in large-scale backend systems and distributed services.
• Must be able to work onsite in Nashville, TN.
• Proficiency in Go or extensive experience with Java, Kotlin, Rust, or Python.
• Strong background in cloud infrastructure, specifically AWS.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and container orchestration (Kubernetes/ECS).
• Experience with ad tech platforms or video streaming technologies (HLS, DASH).

Nice to have

• Experience with messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Deep understanding of CDN optimization strategies.
