What you will do

• Design, execute, and optimize chemical transformations to accelerate small molecule discovery.
• Develop and implement HTE workflows for reaction screening, optimization, and scope evaluation.
• Plan and perform multi-step synthesis, purification, and compound characterization.
• Integrate synthetic workflows with robotics-enabled platforms and automated data generation.
• Analyze reaction performance and analytical data to identify bottlenecks and improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including automation and computational scientists.

Requirements

• PhD in Organic Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, or a closely related discipline.
• Strong expertise in synthetic organic chemistry and multi-step synthesis.
• Hands-on experience with HTE (High-Throughput Experimentation) for screening and optimization.
• Proficiency in reaction workup, purification, and analytical methods (NMR, chromatography).
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot challenging synthetic problems independently.
• Eligibility to work in the USA.

Nice to have

• Experience in biotech, pharma, or advanced research environments.
• Familiarity with late-stage functionalization and heterocycle synthesis.
• Exposure to AI-enabled or data-rich R&D platforms.
• Experience with parallel synthesis or robotics integration.
