What you will do

• Manage and optimize network systems within a 24/7 environment.
• Configure and maintain enterprise network devices including routers and switches.
• Utilize Wireshark and SolarWinds for performance monitoring and rapid issue resolution.
• Enforce rigorous network security protocols and best practices.
• Troubleshoot complex issues involving TCP/IP, VLANs, and routing protocols.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of IT services.

Requirements

• Must be able to obtain or hold an active Secret clearance
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+ CE, CySA+, CCNA Security) required
• Proficiency in BGP, OSPF, and VLAN management
• Experience with network monitoring tools like Wireshark and SolarWinds
• Availability for night shift work (1845–0700, rotating schedule)
• High School diploma with 6–9 years of commensurate experience

Nice to have

• US Coast Guard project experience
• Additional certifications such as Network+, CCNA, or CCNP
• Experience in datacenter environments
