What you will do

• Develop and maintain backend components for the OpenXDR platform using Java.
• Collaborate on processing and storing low-level security events within AWS environments.
• Learn and implement event-driven architectures and microservices.
• Work with version control systems and CI/CD workflows to ensure high code quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve system performance and reliability.

Requirements

• Based in Bratislava or willing to commute for a hybrid work model.
• Approximately 1 year of practical experience with Java development.
• Fundamental understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
• Basic knowledge of or strong interest in AWS cloud technologies.
• Basic understanding of SQL or NoSQL databases.
• Proficiency with Git version control systems.

Nice to have

• Experience with Docker and containerization.
• Knowledge of messaging systems like Kafka.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes orchestration and CI/CD pipelines.
• Basic scripting skills in Python or shell.
