Data Scientist (Fintech): Shaping how hirify.global understands and engages with its members by turning complex data into meaningful insights and predictive solutions with an accent on identifying opportunities to strengthen member relationships and improve onboarding experiences. Focus on building models, designing experiments, and translating data into impactful member experiences.

Location: Must be a resident of WA, CA, VA, NC, OR, ID, AZ, TX, GA, or SC. If located in Washington state and within a reasonable driving distance from Tukwila, you are requested to come into our HQ on Tuesdays & Wednesdays. For those candidates that live outside the commute distance of TFC and in any of our approved remote work locations, this role will be remote.

Salary: $96,900.00-$118,400.00

What you will do

• Build predictive models to identify member behaviors, such as engagement patterns, product adoption opportunities, and potential member dormancy or attrition.
• Design experiments and A/B tests to evaluate onboarding strategies, engagement programs, and marketing initiatives.
• Translate complex analytical findings into clear, compelling narratives using visualizations, dashboards, and presentations.
• Partner with marketing, product, analytics, and engineering teams to define business problems and deliver data-driven solutions.
• Build and maintain intermediate to complex datasets using tools such as Python, SQL, or Spark.
• Use analytical research and exploratory techniques to uncover trends, opportunities, and emerging insights.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in data science, including at least 1 year applying data science in a business or industry setting.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, with the ability to build, test, and deploy analytical models.
• Working knowledge of statistical analysis and machine learning techniques.
• Proven communication, presentation, and project management skills.
• Must be a resident of WA, CA, VA, NC, OR, ID, AZ, TX, GA, or SC.
