TL;DR
Analyst Investment Credit Research (Fintech): Analyzing Investment Grade and High Yield companies and their bond securities in a sector-specific investments portfolio with an accent on individual credit reviews, security-level and industry-level relative value analysis. Focus on portfolio-level monitoring and reporting for an assigned sector-specific investments portfolio.
Location: Hybrid role in the DTC office in Greenwood Village, Colorado. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time, including CPT/OPT. For remote and hybrid positions you will be required to provide reliable high-speed internet with a wired connection as well as a place in your home to work with limited disruption.

What you will do
- Research and recommend corporate credits and both new issue and secondary market IG and HY corporate bonds and leveraged loans.
- Present new investment proposals to the Head of Corporate Bond Research and other senior managers.
- Complete all internal credit approval processes and documentation needs in a timely and efficient manner.
- Develop expertise in assigned industries and manage an existing portfolio of corporate bond investments.
- Manage credit restructuring situations and develop loss mitigation strategies.
- Participate in inter-departmental projects related to investments and/or company acquisitions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Accounting, or Mathematics.
- Minimum two (2) years, three (3) years preferred, of relevant corporate credit and capital markets experience.
- Knowledge of the U.S. fixed income markets, corporate bond trading and relative value analysis.
- Must possess solid business and investments writing skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and/or Access.
- Proficient in S&P’s Capital IQ application and various Bloomberg fixed-income applications.
Nice to have
- Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation or MBA/MSF preferred.
