What you will do

  • Provide risk oversight, insight, and support across technology, cyber, data, and transformation risk domains.
  • Identify and assess technology‑related risks, including cyber threats, system issues, and data risks.
  • Engage with first and second line teams, offering constructive challenge and advisory across global business functions.
  • Plan and deliver risk assurance activity, working alongside internal stakeholders and Group Internal Audit.
  • Support continuous improvement of risk reporting and governance across committees and senior forums.
  • Champion key IT and emerging technology risks, sharing insight and promoting awareness across the organisation.

Requirements

  • Experience working in IT risk, technology assurance, cyber, data, or transformation risk (1LOD, 2LOD, or 3LOD).
  • Strong understanding of IT operations, technology lifecycle, service management, and risk frameworks.
  • Ability to analyse complex technical information and communicate it clearly to technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Confident stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across teams and senior levels.
  • Knowledge of major change delivery methodologies (agile and waterfall).
  • Familiarity with regulatory expectations relating to technology and operational resilience (e.g., PRA, UK Corporate Governance).
