Performance Analyst

TL;DR

Performance Analyst: Designing, implementing, and optimizing performance measurement frameworks to drive service improvement and meet user needs with an accent on data analysis and actionable insights. Focus on collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and ensuring alignment with Government Digital Service (GDS) standards.

Location: Based at client locations, working remotely, or based in our Godalming or Milton Keynes offices. Must be a resident in the UK for a minimum of 5 years and have the right to work in the UK to achieve a minimum of SC clearance.

Salary: £50000 - £60000 per annum

What you will do

• Design, implement, and continuously optimize performance measurement frameworks to drive service improvement.
• Conduct in-depth performance analysis to generate clear, actionable insights and recommendations.
• Lead performance measurement and reporting for service assessments, ensuring readiness and compliance.
• Leverage analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Microsoft Power BI, and SQL to extract and interpret data.
• Design and develop intuitive dashboards to communicate performance metrics effectively.
• Partner with stakeholders to define, refine, and track key performance indicators (KPIs).

Requirements

• Proven experience working within Government Digital Service (GDS) frameworks and standards.
• Strong analytical capabilities, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate findings into actionable insights.
• Proficient in a range of performance and analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Microsoft Power BI, SQL or equivalents).
• Solid experience working in Agile environments, applying iterative and user-centred delivery approaches.
• Due to the nature of this position, you must be willing and eligible to achieve a minimum of SC clearance. To be eligible, you must have been a resident in the UK for a minimum of 5 years and have the right to work in the UK.
