Salary: $160,000–$180,000

What you will do

• Develop technical solutions to solve real-world user problems within the existing backend stack.
• Write well-documented, testable, and maintainable code to support rapid iteration.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, designers, and product managers.
• Debug issues and optimize application performance for a seamless user experience.
• Provide backend support for customer-facing teams by delivering data analysis and statistics.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience working with any JVM language.
• Solid understanding of SQL and relational database concepts.
• Strong knowledge of transport protocols including RESTful concepts, gRPC, and WebSockets.
• Passion for working with globally distributed, scalable systems.
• Strong collaborative skills and a solution-focused mindset.
• Must be able to work on-site in Boston 3 days per week.
