What you will do
- Develop technical solutions to solve real-world user problems within the existing backend stack.
- Write well-documented, testable, and maintainable code to support rapid iteration.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, designers, and product managers.
- Debug issues and optimize application performance for a seamless user experience.
- Provide backend support for customer-facing teams by delivering data analysis and statistics.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience working with any JVM language.
- Solid understanding of SQL and relational database concepts.
- Strong knowledge of transport protocols including RESTful concepts, gRPC, and WebSockets.
- Passion for working with globally distributed, scalable systems.
- Strong collaborative skills and a solution-focused mindset.
- Must be able to work on-site in Boston 3 days per week.
