What you will do

• Translate open-ended, real-world robotics challenges into defined machine learning problems.
• Design, develop, and code innovative computer vision-based algorithms and neural network architectures.
• Implement robust 3D geometry-based vision algorithms for spatial understanding.
• Build and maintain scalable ML infrastructure for large-scale data training and algorithm reproducibility.
• Deploy optimized machine learning pipelines to edge devices with limited compute resources.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Hardware, Electrical, and Systems engineering teams.

Requirements

• Robust machine learning background in computer vision and perceptual tasks.
• Experience with 3D perception, multi-class object detection, and robotics controls.
• Proven track record of applying product-focused research to real-world applications.
• Fluency in Rust or C++, and Python with PyTorch or similar frameworks.
• Ability to write clean, reliable, and maintainable code.
• Must be able to work on-site in Mountain View, CA.
