Business Continuity Manager

TL;DR

Business Continuity Manager (IT Security/Governance): Managing and optimizing the Business Continuity Management System (BCMS) for the hirify.global Group with an accent on facilitating Business Impact Analyses (BIA) and continuity risk assessments. Focus on coordinating IT emergency management, conducting BCM audits, and ensuring alignment across business units.

Location: Must be based in Berlin (Hybrid)

What you will do

• Maintain BCM guidelines, processes, and documentation for the group.
• Drive BCM lifecycle stages, including BIA, BCRA, and continuity planning.
• Plan and moderate BCM tests and exercises in collaboration with IT emergency management.
• Provide methodological guidance to decentralized BCM leads and product owners.
• Conduct BCM audits and track corrective and preventive actions.
• Collaborate with subsidiaries and business units to ensure operational alignment with ITSCM and risk management.

Requirements

• Degree in Business Administration, Business Risk & Security Management, or related field.
• 2–3 years of professional experience in BCM, IT Service Continuity, or Crisis Management.
• Fluent in both German and English (written and spoken).
• Solid understanding of relevant laws and industry standards.
• Strong facilitation skills and service-oriented mindset.
• Structured and proactive working style with ability to lead and motivate teams.

• Experience with Jira.
• Experience with Confluence.
