What you will do

• Design, deploy, and manage container orchestration platforms using OpenShift and AKS.
• Administer and optimize Linux-based systems in hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Ansible and GitOps workflows.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions with Terraform and Helm.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement secure CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure disaster recovery.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to commute to Charlotte, NC
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Linux system administration.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on production experience with OpenShift and AKS.
• Deep proficiency in scripting (Bash, Python) and CI/CD toolsets.
• Strong understanding of Kubernetes architecture, networking, and security.

Nice to have

• Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration.
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Kubernetes Service Specialist.
• Experience with service mesh technologies such as Istio.
• Background in regulated industries like finance or healthcare.
