Software Engineer (iOS)

TL;DR

Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Los Angeles, California for a hybrid role (3 days/week in-office).

Salary: $140,000 – $160,000 per year.

What you will do

• Design and implement consumer-facing features within the native iOS application.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to influence the product roadmap.
• Contribute to internal shared frameworks, libraries, and optimized analytics tools.
• Evolve app architecture to support complex authentication flows and account management.
• Mentor team members and participate in code reviews to ensure high code quality.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience building native iOS consumer applications.
• Full lifecycle experience in Swift, including structs, optionals, and generics.
• Proficiency in iOS memory management and protocol-oriented programming.
• Familiarity with architecture patterns like MVVM or Clean.
• Experience with large-scale codebase testing and writing unit tests.
• Must be able to work on-site in Los Angeles 3 days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience building public APIs and mobile SDKs.
• Knowledge of native frameworks: URL Session, Core Data, and Core Animation.
• Familiarity with In-App Purchases, StoreKit, or premium feature implementation.
• Comfortable working with and refactoring legacy code.
