What you will do

• Collaborate with a small engineering team to execute long-term marketing technology roadmap initiatives.
• Develop and maintain APIs and user-facing web creatives.
• Monitor architecture and perform rigorous unit and integration testing.
• Modernize and upscale operations by planning and structuring new code.
• Ensure stability and functionality of marketing tools and personalization engines.
• Implement automated checks and alerts to improve system visibility.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Proficiency in fullstack JavaScript, specifically React and Next.js
• Experience with AWS cloud services (S3, CloudFront, DocumentDB, Amplify, EC2, ECS, EKS)
• Strong experience in backend development using Node.js or Spring Boot
• Deep understanding of relational (RDS) and non-relational (DocumentDB/MongoDB) databases
• Expertise in HTML5, CSS3, and modern CSS preprocessors/frameworks

Nice to have

• Passion for sports, fantasy sports, or sports gaming
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes deployments
• Familiarity with Varnish Configuration Language (VCL) and Fastly CDN
