What you will do

• Design and conduct experiments to evaluate AI model behavior across reasoning, style, and robustness dimensions.
• Develop new metrics, methodologies, and evaluation protocols beyond traditional benchmarks.
• Analyze large-scale human voting and interaction data to uncover insights into model performance.
• Communicate research findings through academic papers, educational content, and conference talks.
• Partner with model providers to shape evaluation questions and support responsible model testing.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to scale research findings into production-grade systems.

Requirements

• PhD or equivalent research experience in Machine Learning, NLP, Statistics, or related fields.
• Hands-on experience training large-scale models, including preference tuning with RLHF, DPO, and contrastive learning.
• Strong proficiency in Python and ML frameworks such as PyTorch, JAX, or TensorFlow.
• Demonstrated ability to design and analyze experiments with statistical rigor.
• Deep understanding of modern LLM architectures and training objectives.
• Passionate about open science, reproducibility, and contributing to community-driven research.
