What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain automated ETL/ELT pipelines for financial transaction datasets.
• Perform data cleaning, normalization, validation, and entity mapping across multiple legal entities.
• Build exploratory data analysis (EDA) pipelines and statistical analysis of financial patterns.
• Develop feature stores with pre-computed lag and rolling statistics for ML forecasting.
• Ensure high data quality through automated integrity checks and validation frameworks.
• Document pipelines and provide technical handoff materials for ML Engineering teams.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience building production-grade data engineering pipelines.
• Strong expertise in Python (Pandas, NumPy) and SQL.
• Experience with Jupyter notebooks for EDA and reporting.
• Proven ability to handle complex financial data such as transactions, general ledger, and settlements.
• Familiarity with corporate network security protocols and data access controls.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Nice to have

• Financial domain experience regarding treasury operations or intercompany transactions.
• Experience preparing time-series datasets for ML forecasting.
• Exposure to orchestration tools such as Airflow, Luigi, or Prefect.
• Experience with cloud data platforms like AWS S3, GCP BigQuery, or Azure Data Lake.
