Senior Developer Advocate (AI): Creating reference applications, demos, and technical content to demonstrate the capabilities of voice AI and guide developers from initial interest to production-ready solutions with an accent on real-time voice agents, multi-model orchestration, and streaming audio intelligence pipelines. Focus on simplifying complex AI orchestration, building developer trust, and driving adoption through high-quality code and clear documentation.

Location: US East Coast, with the ability to attend and represent hirify.global at events in the NY metro area. Some travel beyond the region (~25%) for conferences and team gatherings.

Salary: $150K – $200K

What you will do

• Architect and open-source sample apps that solve real-world challenges, such as building real-time voice agents and orchestrating multiple voice AI models.
• Produce deep-dives, video walkthroughs, and documentation that moves developers from idea to working prototype in minutes.
• Act as the first customer for every new feature and API change, turning feedback into Friction Reports that influence Product and Engineering priorities.
• Author high-quality technical content across blogs, social media, and video platforms to establish hirify.global as the default choice for voice AI.
• Engage where developers live (GitHub, Reddit, X, Discord, Hacker News) to represent hirify.global, answer questions, and earn community trust through consistent technical presence.
• Lead workshops, speak at meetups and AI conferences, and build relationships with the developer community.

Requirements

• 5+ years in Software Engineering or Developer Relations.
• Solid foundation in JavaScript, Python, Java, C#, Rust, or Go.
• Experience participating in or building developer communities.
• Simplify complex AI orchestration through clear writing, documentation, and high-quality code samples.
• Proactively find the gaps, define the plan, and drive to outcomes without waiting to be pointed at a problem.
• US East Coast location, with the ability to attend and represent hirify.global at events in the NY metro area.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with the broader "AI Agent" stack — LLM orchestration frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex), vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate), and RAG architecture.
• Experience working with WebSockets, WebRTC, or gRPC.
• A history of collaborating directly with Product and Engineering teams to shape an API roadmap based on developer friction.
