What you will do

• Design and optimize LLM features using providers such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Bedrock, Vertex AI, and open-source models.
• Enhance document intelligence for processing unstructured data from PDFs, DOCX, HTML, images, tables, and forms.
• Develop prompt engineering strategies, including structured outputs, tool/function calling, and RAG workflows.
• Build scalable NLP solutions utilizing embeddings, semantic search, entity extraction, and similarity matching.
• Create evaluation and testing frameworks using golden datasets, regression testing, and A/B comparisons.
• Optimize AI systems for quality, latency, and cost through model routing, caching, and batching.

Requirements

• 3+ years of Python development experience with a focus on clean, typed, async, and testable code.
• Proven experience building and shipping LLM-based features in a real production environment.
• Proficiency in prompt engineering, structured outputs, and tool calling.
• Solid understanding of NLP fundamentals, including embeddings, tokenization, and entity extraction.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and ORM (preferably SQLAlchemy).
• Location: Must be based in Brazil

Nice to have

• Experience with NumPy, Pandas, or scikit-learn for metrics and analysis.
• Familiarity with orchestration tools like LangChain, LangGraph, or LangSmith.
• Knowledge of Vector databases and RAG systems.
• Experience in regulated industries such as healthcare, pharma, or finance.
• Knowledge of Gherkin or BDD frameworks.
