What you will do

• Conduct research to advance algorithms for personalization, user modeling, ranking, and information retrieval.
• Design, train, and deploy transformer-based and generative machine learning models for production environments.
• Optimize and fine-tune models to improve recommendation performance and classification accuracy.
• Develop scalable workflows for processing and analyzing petabyte-scale datasets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional product and engineering teams to drive business impact.
• Contribute to thought leadership through publications, patents, and technical presentations.

Requirements

• PhD or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or related quantitative field.
• 5+ years of experience in machine learning, deep learning, or NLP.
• Hands-on expertise with Python and deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Proven ability to bridge the gap between theoretical research and practical, large-scale applications.
• Strong understanding of model training and evaluation metrics.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Reinforcement Learning.
• Experience with large language models (LLMs), fine-tuning, or prompt engineering.
