What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain data engineering pipelines using diverse structured and unstructured data sources.
• Implement efficient ETL/ELT strategies and robust data models.
• Lead architectural planning and decision-making for complex data systems.
• Orchestrate data workflows using scheduling tools to ensure reliable delivery.
• Collaborate directly with non-technical departments like Finance, Marketing, and Sales.
• Translate complex technical concepts for stakeholders and maintain high-quality documentation.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience with advanced database development and SQL.
• 2+ years of experience with ETL tools such as Pentaho, Talend, Informatica, or DataStage.
• 1+ years of experience with orchestration tools like Airflow, Control-M, or Autosys.
• Proficiency in Python scripting and system troubleshooting.
• Strong communication skills and experience working with cross-functional teams outside of IT.
• Ability to define architectural and infrastructure requirements.

Nice to have

• Experience with big data technologies like Vertica, Snowflake, Redshift, or the Hadoop ecosystem (Spark, Hive).
• Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and BigQuery.
• Understanding of digital marketing data or clinical/medical datasets.
• Familiarity with Linux environments and business intelligence principles.
