What you will do

• Define and maintain golden paths for cloud infrastructure, networking, and access patterns.
• Ship secure defaults and guardrails that make the safe path the easiest to follow.
• Build and operate core networking primitives including routing, DNS, and load balancing.
• Establish baseline observability and operational hygiene across services.
• Own developer infrastructure including build systems, CI/CD, and testing frameworks.
• Drive cloud cost visibility and efficiency through tooling and automation.

Requirements

• Strong infrastructure or platform engineering background with production-grade system experience.
• Deep expertise in at least one area: cloud platforms, networking, security architecture, or developer tooling.
• Experience with GCP, AWS, or multi-cloud environments.
• Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code and orchestration tools like Terraform and Kubernetes.
• Ability to thrive in a high-agency, fast-paced, and complex multi-team environment.
• Effective communication skills and willingness to work across research and engineering boundaries.
