What you will do
- Define and integrate QA processes, standards, and KPIs within the publishing workflow for external development studios.
- Lead release readiness efforts, defining quality gates and go/no-go criteria for launches and live updates.
- Manage vendor partner performance, including SLAs, capacity planning, and turnaround times.
- Own defect triage, severity frameworks, and escalation paths to ensure stable releases.
- Scale operations by implementing reusable test plans, bug taxonomies, and cross-platform device coverage.
- Support App Store submission readiness and coordinate rapid incident response for live titles.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in mobile games QA or related quality operations.
- 2+ years of experience managing third-party vendor relationships or distributed teams.
- Proven track record managing QA for live free-to-play mobile games throughout the release lifecycle.
- Deep understanding of test methodologies, defect lifecycle management, and mobile device test coverage.
- Proficiency with QA tooling such as Jira, TestRail, and Zephyr.
- Strong operational judgment in risk-based testing and cross-functional leadership.
Nice to have
- Experience with portfolio QA operations across multiple titles and time zones.
- Knowledge of modern games QA practices, including automation-aware thinking.
- Background in localization QA for multi-region launches.
- Certifications such as CSM or PSM.
