What you will do

• Develop and maintain high-performance Golang backend services to make media archives searchable and accessible.
• Contribute to cloud-native solutions on AWS, including building resilient, auto-scaling microservices.
• Create automated modules for media processing to ensure high-quality audio and video delivery.
• Manage the full deployment lifecycle, shipping code to production Kubernetes environments.
• Collaborate within an autonomous Agile squad to solve technical challenges.
• Maintain high standards of code quality through peer reviews and automated testing.

Requirements

• Must have the right to lawfully work and live in Australia.
• Solid proficiency in Go for building backend services and concurrent applications.
• Experience deploying and troubleshooting containerized applications in Kubernetes.
• Practical experience with AWS or similar cloud providers for scalable solutions.
• Experience developing distributed systems and RESTful APIs.
• Strong background in incorporating automated testing into the development lifecycle.

Nice to have

• Experience in processing, analysis, or organization of audio/video data and metadata.
• Familiarity with using AI tools like GitHub Copilot for engineering efficiency.
