What you will do

• Participate in software requirement definition, design, implementation, and integration for non-safety-critical systems.
• Contribute to the development of engineering artifacts, technical documentation, and customer deliverables.
• Develop combat system performance models to analyze surface combatant capabilities.
• Work under the supervision of experienced engineers on Combat Management and Submarine Automation systems.
• Engage in verification and validation activities for internal reviews and testing.

Requirements

• Must be an Australian citizen to be eligible for required defense security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer science, or a related technical discipline completed within the last 2 years.
• Demonstrated experience in developing software and familiarity with contemporary development standards.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Passion for large-scale commercial and defense software systems.
• Ability to obtain and maintain appropriate Australian security clearance.
